Type 192.168.1.1 (gateway i.e. modem) in the browser.

Password : password

Start configuring the router
↓
Click the WAN link given on the left side
↓
click the edit button
↓
Enter the vpi and vci values
VPI : 1
VCI : 32

Connection type : PPP over ethernet (PPPoE)
↓
Encapsulation Mode : LLC/SNAP-BRIDGING

PPP Username : (your-user-name_dsl@airtelbroadband.in)
PPP password : **********
PPPoE Service Name : airtel
Authentication mode : AUTO

Enable IGMP Multicast : uncheck it (disable)
↓
Enable WAN Service : check it (enable)

Service Name : pppoe_1_32_1

WAN Setup – Summary : Click SAVE
↓
SAVE/REBOOT

Network Configuration on Computer
static ip : 192. 168.1.2 -192.168.1.254 (ip range, enter any one)
subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
gateway : 192.168.1.1
dns : 202.56.215.54, 202.56.215.55, 202.56.215.6, 202.56.230.6
