Morning Alarms

For last 2 and a half months i have been working with a BPO, going on with the training which is just going to end. Cab comes 5 in the morning to pick me up and for this i have to setup a 3:45 alarm.

I remember days when i had morning lectures at college, and never attended the first two. First lecture used to start at 9:30 am, but it was always hard to get out from bed even at 10. 

Need, responsibilty and interest pull and push you to be disciplined and punctual at certain times.

I remember my involvement in the technical festival of my college, when i used to work non-stop day-long and night, but at 9:30 i used to get ready to be there at college. Reflects responsibility and my interest for that, anything not done within time-bounds and done incorrectly was not tolerable and fingers, which i did’nt want anyone to point on me. It was also my love and interest to make it better and bigger. 

Marks have never been a concern for me, i never fell below the required level as i used to get them just by making it satisfactory in sessionals and university exams. Had been there some strictness and faculty marking zero in internals, i would have been there at 9:25 to be in the satisfactory band.

I also remember French class at 8, going to JNU from RKGIT at 6 and some intersting lectures. These all were due to my hunger for knowldege, can be termed as my interest and need. Similarly i cannot miss out any day at office, it would affect my salary which is my bread and butter, so can’t snooze alarms and stretch in the bed. Need and responsibilty being the major ones that always pull and push me to wake up before ringing alarms and i’m loving the change.

My first Cell Phone

I got the salary(part time Job @ Airtel as Technical Support Officer) being credited into my account on 17/09/07… came to know about this in the evening at 7, when sufiyan(my room partner and one of my dearest) came and told me that your account balance is Rs.7000 …. i rushed up to sec-10 market(in ghaziabad), just near to my flat in sec-14, and got an I- Card Idea connection, my first +919911003316 and at the same time was having a look at various cell phones, nokia 1600 was the best choice as i knew( bugdet was 2000-2500)…. at the same time a guy near by showed his Samsung C160 with GPRS, FM just for 2100, he said that look at this , may be this can be the best buy. I had a look over the phone, it was a nice one, headsets and speaker were also good, hotspot was not far from sec-10, where i bought my first mobile phone C160 (that too in my final year of b.tech), returned back to flat with ginni, and then sufiyan and santosh reminded me about “MITHAI”, drove back to raj nagar got some “BARFI n PERA” … and as I reached the flat and as the “BHOG” was done( matlab jaise hi mithai ka bhog lagaya), message came that IDEA services are activated on my no., it took me 10 sec to call my MAMU(whom i love the most) … then a row of STD calls, and then a lot of calls in NCR to freinds….. this happiness was b’coz i bought it from my own salary(may be a part time job), but i felt happy and expressed it here .
